Bright Eyes – Diminish Dark Eye Circles

Most people have been staying up late to use the computer, catch a midnight movie, go out for a round of drink with a group of close pals, or simply trying their best to finish up that important report for submission the next morning. And commonly, people tend to have the concept that dark circles under their eyes are caused by irregular resting habits and not getting adequate sleeping hours each day. Well, these people may be wrong.

As cute as pandas can be, the dark circles under your eye are definitely causing you to look haggard rather than looking adorable and cuddly, like the real pandas that is. Dark eye circles, or the commonly named “panda eyes”, are a result of the same mechanism that causes bruises which appear when you don’t rest your eyes enough or when you rub them too habitually and roughly. And sometimes, by changing your behaviours still would not get rid of those “bruises” under your beautiful eyes.

With that said, there are many reasons for the cause of dark eye circles. And to name a few:

- Lack of sleep or sleeping too much

- Lack of iron or vitamins

- Hyperpigmentation

- Medical or heredity conditions/side effects

- Thinning/aging skin

- Weight/fat loss

- Nasal congestion

If you have not known, having a proper diet would help to improve the conditions of dark eye circles too. Try to avoid excessive intakes of sugar and cut down on salty food. Research shows that can cause skin problems which lead to eye puffiness and dark circles. While high intake of salt can produce fluid retention which may increase the pressure in the tiny capillaries around your eye area, aggravating dark under eye circles too.

Once all the possible caused of dark eye circles are ruled out but they continue to stay on, it is time to consult a professional to determine why you have them and seek proper treatment thereafter. There are non-surgical treatments, through the day protection and nourishments to apply before you go to bed that can help to reduce the signs of dark under circles. With all the existing professional methods available, you are sure to find one treatment which suits your hectic lifestyle.
